Add a new feature to allow a PWS to be used as a rain sensor. As it stands now if it starts to rain while a zone is running your have to use IFTTT to trigger a stop which is too complicated for most people.

Also add new zone types like the top 20 or 30 plants…in my case it would be 1) Marathon II grass, Citrus trees, and my swimming pool. Quite a few people fill their pool with your devices and a tool to calculate the settings would be nice.

Add a wireless programmable set of motion sensors that would trigger the sprinklers… (to shoosh the neighbor’s cat who likes to use my veggie bed as a litter box)

Add potting mix/square foot gardening to the soils selection

Love the ideas @melusine There are a few different triggers through IFTTT, SmartThings or Stringify (probably more) that will turn sprinklers on if motion is sensed. Here’s a good thread on that Rachio + SmartThings = securing my garden from voracious DEER
