Suddenly, I can no longer see any Weather Underground PWS stations.
I have disabled and re-enabled the GPS on my phone, rebooted it, tried in another device, and the same problem. This is not a user problem but a System problem.
Also, I can access the WU page and look for all those PWS stations just fine, so they are there and online, but can’t longer see them on Rachio Weather Sources
Anyone having the same issue?
I am having a similar problem, with most likely the same root cause. Specifically, in the Rachio app (iOS version 4.21.8):
Settings → Weather source → Weather station → CHANGE STATION → PERSONAL
shows only a very small subset of the Personal Weather Stations (PWS) that were previously displayed.
For example, the previous 10 closest PWS were all within about a mile of my home. Now the closest is about 1.5 miles. When I click on “MORE INFO” for this PWS, it opens up the station’s Weather Underground (WU) page in the Rachio app. What is interesting is that the map on the WU page shows all of the “missing” PWS that used to be selectable from within the Rachio app, but are no longer listed.
I still see a total of 10 PWS within the Rachio app to select from, but they are all much further away. I couldn’t identify any pattern or logic as to how the PWS are being filtered or otherwise limited in the current release (e.g., specific manufacturer, only “gold star” stations, etc.).
