I have had Rachio for a year now but there’s a zone that when I turn it on will not turn off. Has anyone ever experienced that and have a suggestion as to how to troubleshoot this? This is a recent behavior.

Does the LED corresponding to that zone turn off? Do you have an AC Voltmeter to see if the voltage measured from that zones terminal on the controller to one of the Common terminals shuts off when the zone’s LED goes off? If they both do, then the valve is probably sticking in the open position. For lack of a Voltmeter, you can disconnect the zone’s wire from that controller terminal and see if the valve shuts or continues to let water flow

If Rachio shuts off, but the zone continues to run, it is usually a problem with the diaphragm inside the valve.
