Yea, we are basically scraping our backyard and starting new. The only thing being left behind is the pool shell (being resurfaced) and the 2 pineapple palms. 
Grass is coming out of the backyard and turf will be going back in.
The backyard was pretty with lots of big established plants, but the space wasn’t overly functional TBH. I’ll honestly miss the 2 big red push pistache trees on the right of this picture. HORRIBLE for growing grass under them, but amazing shade trees.
