Zone 6 stays on when other zones are running, but it doesn’t happen every time? I did a quick run day before yesterday and it ran well. Yesterday I ran zone 6 only. Today when I did a quick run of all zones, zone 6 stays on for all? How can this be fixed.
@dgifford1 - by cleaning out the valve diaphragm for zone 6. If there is debris in the valve that is one reason that it will stay on.

I just went through the same and learned, that if it doesn’t turn off it is as @DLane said, a diaphragm/collar issue and not a solenoid problem. I had a crack in the white collar where the diaphragm is seated. My Toro requires to take off the solenoid for any repair. Make sure you don’t lose plunger and spring when removing it, as they just fall out into the mud. There is a lot of instructional stuff on youtube. The easy repair is to buy a complete new valve, but then only use the top part. Saves you cutting and reinstalling pipes…and not much more expensive than buying the spares separately. Good luck!
