I have allowed depletion at the default 50%. My soil moisture is under 50%.
However the next run as you can see is in 9 days.
Ideas?
Rachio calculates the soil moisture a little differently than you might think. Clearly, if you truely had 100% moisture level, your yard would be a lake…
The soil moisture in Rachio is a function of allowed depletion setting (soil moisture 0%) to field capacity of soil type (soil moisture 100%). If AD is 50%, that is your 0% soil moisture. If you had changed AD to 30%, that would be your 0% soil moisture.
