Web interface no longer updated, prior functions broken

On the web interface, History was saying “No history yet for this controller,” but app showed history correctly. Messaged with support, who said “While our Web App is a long-standing part of the Rachio family of products, it is not being updated with new features and products.“ But, some change broke existing function. We find the Web App easier to use on a large screen and full keyboard for setting schedules, checking runs, etc., and use the phone app when working in the yard. There is a survey at PH Web App survey [8/7/23] , no idea if they will pay attention, but if you use the web interface, please weigh in on the survey.

Rachio made it clear a couple years ago that they were no longer supporting the web going forward. Just like the calendar can get wonky, I’m sure other things will “break” without future updates as the app interface (and presumably backend systems) will update and change with new features and technology.

Just bizarre in this day and age that you can not pick a platform that works on web and mobile device. Also, why does the web then suggest an “app” if it is no longer supported. And yes the calendar is totally wonky - it’s basics man!

Yes. Exactly. The phone is better for some things, a big screen is better for others, but it shouldn’t take lots of manual developer effort to maintain two different apps (like in the bad old days).
