I’m finding the weather skip is spotty at best. My Rachio 3 is getting it’s weather data directly from my Tempest Weather Station in my back yard. We have had about 5” of rain last week with the last rain of about 1” on Friday. Today is Tuesday and the day my zones run. I received a skip notification yesterday evening (Monday) that the zones would not run due to sufficient moisture detected (or something to that effect). So, I get up this morning and my sprinklers are running! UGH…….. I knew I should have cancelled the skip and applied a manual skip myself. The forcast on my Tempest is close to the same as yesterday so it’s not that, in fact, we now have more rain chances this Friday and thru the weeked that wasn’t showing yesterday on my tempest.
What can I do to clean up this weather skip so it actually does what it says its going to do when it says it? Dang water is too expensive to have it used for no reason.
Post your settings. I found that if set the day before, it might not skip. And some other settings would block it which was usually the case. I had one for 8-years and it did really well for me.
