Weather Intelligence for twice a day / once a week schedule

Our area restricts lawn watering to a specific day of the week, and on that day we’re permitted to water from 5:30 am - 10 am and from 7 pm - 11 pm.

Although Rachio’s suggested runtime is longer than the morning watering window, I want all zones to get some water in the morning!

I’m new to Rachio, and maybe there’s a better way to do this, but the workaround I came up with was to split the lawn watering into two separate flex monthly schedules that run on the same day of the week – one in the morning and one in the evening. I set the watering time on each to 50% of Rachio’s recommendation so the total would match the recommendations.

Today I got a saturation skip notice for the morning schedule, meaning there’s enough moisture to last until the next watering time (which would be the evening schedule)

I’m wondering if saturation skip is compatible with the split schedule described above? Does it realize that the next watering would only be for 50% of the recommended watering time. (And if 50% is really enough, I’d rather it run just the morning and skip the evening schedule!)

My apologies if this was asked already and I’m interested in your thoughts. Thanks!
