Verizon Fios Gateway Router Help

I recently upgraded my Fios internet from their basic router (red/black ActionTech) to the Quantum Gateway (G1100). The old router was only 2.4GHz, this new one is dual-band so it sends out 2.4 ghz and 5.0 ghz. When I try updating the Rachio’s wifi settings to the new router, it doesn’t find any wifi networks.

I am using my android phone and tried being connected to both, 2.4 ghz and 5.0 ghz, and still cannot find any networks to even try to connect to. I have powered down the Rachio and that hasn’t helped.

Has anyone connected to this router before? Anything else I need to try?

Dual band routers are a little trickier to connect to, which is probably why you are running into issues.
To resolve some of these issues, there are some easy steps you can take. First of all, we recommend naming your two different bands different names. Once you do that, make sure you are connected to your 2.4gHz band. Then, go through the steps to update your wifi! I linked them below :slight_smile:. If you run into any other issues, I would contact support and they should be able to get your sorted out!
