I have two pondless water features that are filled by my sprinkler system. They both have autofill float valves that are reoccurring failure points where I end up learning from my utility bill (too late) that the valve isn’t working/not shutting off when full. I recently installed a Rachio 3 system, but the water features aren’t assigned as zones, therefore aren’t seen by my Rachio. Is there a Rachio product that I can install on those fill lines to gain visibility (flow notifications) to help notify me of the autofill valve failures?

I also have a similar water feature with an autofill float valve and filled with my pressurized irrigation. I have not had any problems with my float valve, but could see that as a problem if I did. I turn on the water feature pump through my Rachio. The only ways that I can think of to help with a float valve issue early warning system might be putting on a flow sensor for that line before the float valve or some other type of sensor to tell when it is full or started to overflow. However, they do not tie into the Rachio system.
