I’m upgrading from a rainbird esp-16LXi+ to a Rachio v3 16 zones. I have a question about the REM on where this goes in the new Rachio?
Those wires are no longer needed once you install the Rachio.
Your remote is built into the device that you will use to set up and program the controller with.

FYI- That looks like a Hunter Pro C controller.
