I planted a drought resistant ECO-LAWN in the fall of 2025. This grass requires infrequent watering to encourage deep roots. The guidelines for watering are a) once every 7-10 days and b) to water only so long as to bring the current rain + watering total for the past 3 days to a total of 1 inch.
Example:
Once-a-week schedule is set to Flex daily.
We receive 0.5 inch of rain over the past 3 days.
Depending on the sprinkler heads in use, Rachio should determine the watering period for the zone to deliver only another 0.5 inch of water to make up a weekly total of 1 inch - or trigger rain skip if the current weekly rainfall already meets/exceeds 1 inch.
IS there a way to approximate this in the current app version? Is this over-complicated?
