I have st Augustine grass in north Florida. Why is the default root Depth 9 inches? I thought it was 6.
Defaults don’t know anything of your exact yard grass type— they are best guesses for the most number of users based on cool or warm season grass selections If you know your root depth, go ahead and change it.
