Sprinkler Heads Placed Behind Bushes

Hello everyone, I’m looking for some advice about adjusting some of my lawn sprinkler heads. I did not install this system, and maybe it made sense at the time, but I have several spray heads which sit behind bushes and effectively just water the base of the bushes.

I live in Orlando, FL and the bushes I’m talking about are what I believe to be podocarpus (or something very similar) and some sort of green hedge that has some white flowers and green leaves on it and turns to just sticks in the winter. I plan on in the fall, when it’s less hot, to move the sprinkler heads in front of these bushes so they can properly water the lawn. Should I adjust the spray heads to also spray backwards a bit to get the base of the bushes or will the roots get enough water just from what is out in the yard?
