Solenoid not powering zone on

I have Rachio 2 system.
I had a zone fault in my Zone 5 but all other zones worked. I replaced the solenoid and there is no longer a zone fault but when doing a quick run the zone is not powered by the solenoid or something because zone 5 won’t run. Before only zone 5 wouldn’t run while displaying a zone fault now there isn’t a zone fault but zones 5,6,7,8 won’t run while trying to perform a “Quick Run” but I can still manually turn on each individual zone by turning the manual valve for each zone.
Do I need to reset the Rachio System?
Do I need to take out and re-insert the zone wiring at the main Rachio system box?
I don’t understand why all of the zones stopped working when I only replaced 1 solenoid for Zone 5.
Please help.
Thanks

It almost sounds like an interruption of the common wire at zone 5. Maybe when you replaced the solenoid there you didn’t get the common wires connected together well? If 6,7,8 were working before you did the repair I would start at that location first. If you have a volt meter take the connection at the solenoid apart and see if you are getting voltage at those wires when you turn on zone 5. What type of connectors do you have at the valve?

Thank you very much for your response.
When connecting back to the common wires I saw how they were all put together and I believed to replicate it the same way as it was put together initially.
What is the proper way to get the common wires connected together well?
I am not sure which connectors you are referring to at the valves (sorry I am a complete novice at this)
If I understand correctly about the connectors I am using the Orbit “Easy Seal” Waterproof wire connections. Are these ok or should I get a different kind?
Thank you!

@brockayres, I was just thinking you needed to revisit your repair b/c the valves down stream stopped working(usually caused by a break in the common). As long as you are using waterproof connectors they should be fine but I tend to put a new one on when doing a repair.

Do you have a volt meter? If so, I would start at the controller remove zone 5 wire and run the station on you app and check for voltage. If you have power there move to the solenoid and check there.
