Smart Hose Valve (2 units) - Can no Longer Trigger Watering

Same issue as this post, but no resolution was ever given - Rachio Smart Hose fails without notification

I have two Smart Hose units and one Hub. After working as expected all summer, starting today I can no longer trigger a manual run of either Smart Hose device from my iPhone app. This morning I was able to start the 1st unit manually and it ran as usual. After the cycle was complete, I tried to start the other, but when I hit the play button, the “sending…” pop up shows and then disappears and the water never starts flowing. Then I tried again on the first unit, same “sending…” issue. I can no longer start watering from the iPhone app.

  • iPhone app on iOS 18
  • I have unplugged the hub and plugged it back in
  • Both Smart Hoses CAN be triggered manually by pressing the blue button
  • Hub Firmware Version is 6.0.15, 6.0.16
  • Both Hose Valve’s firmware is 6.0.15
  • Battery Health, Connection Status, etc. on all devices are in positive status
