Smart hose timer giving low battery warning within a few days of installing new batteries. Does Rachio have a solution to this problem. I’ve heard it’s a common problem.
We recommend using lithium batteries. These will typically last a full watering season or more.
Thank you.
Strange, for a year or more only changed AA Alkaline batteries once. Did Rachio change software? Now AA alkaline batteries last a week or two. Notice from comments I’m not alone with this issue. What changed?
No firmware has been released for about five or six months. I would upgrade to lithium batteries which should perform much better, especially with changes in temperatures.
Thanks. I’ll give it a try.
