Seasonal Shift vs Adjusted

I have this message from Rachio stating my Flex Monthly schedule is being adjusted for the month:

When I click on Learn More, it says Flex Monthly does NOT adjust seasonally:

“Seasonal Shift is not available on Flexible Monthly and Flex Daily schedules because these schedules automatically adjust watering to achieve a result similar to Seasonal Shift.”

What’s the difference between “adjusted for the season” and “Seasonal Shift”?

Flex Monthly DOES adjust both the frequency and amount of water automatically, based on historical (not current) weather information. Fixed schedules can adjust the amount of water (but not the frequency) based on historical information if you have selected Seasonal Shift.
