I ordered a Rachio 3 + Wireless Flow Meter Smart Water System. I received the Wireless Flow Meter much after I received the controller - about 3 weeks ago. I attempted to hire a professional installer but he refused the job as he said the water pipe I have is 1/2 inch and that even with adapting it to a larger pipe the flow meter would not provide accurate readings. I want to return the flow meter for a refund but when I attempt to use the automated return system it is not giving me an option to just return the flow meter by itself. Please advise
@mikescrivo I just want to double check and would appreciate if you could even post a picture of your pipe between the backflow and the valve box. 1/2 inch pipe would be pretty rare.
