Retrofitting a Rachio to my old sprinkler system that runs with well water

I am trying to retrofit a 16 zone Rachio to my old sprinkler system that runs on well water. When I looked into the sprinkler controller it had a transformer in there. I did not know if this was because of the well pump. So I thought I will turn to you guys to help me figure it out. I am attaching a couple of pictures and hopefully they will help.

@wellpump1- that transformer it to power the control board and valves. Rachio has its own transformer that plugs into a wall outlet.

It should be a straight forward conversion, Com to Common and 1 - 1, through 16 - 16.

It does look like there is a powered rain sensor hooked up, but it is also in a bypass state. That can be migrated to, if desired. Many user just let the Rachio intelligence control the rain skips. But some prefer a belts and suspenders approach.

Well water was mentioned, so I’m assuming there is a pressure tank with switch that will turn on the well pump as I didn’t see a Pump Start Relay. Also, there is a Rachio configuration to pause the irrigation to let the water flow into the well bore, if needed.

Thanks. I just put in the new Rachio and looks like it is working well!
