[RESOLVED] New Smart Hose Timer Hub WiFi set up "Failed to connect to server"

Got a new Smart Hose Timer with WiFi Hub and I’m unable to get the hub connected.

Details:
Orbi Mesh Wireless running latest firmware
Dedicated 2.4 Ghz Wireless SSID. (no 5GHz)
Rachio App on Android Galaxy Note 8

Installed the Rachio App.
Plugged in the hub and waited for the blinking yellow led.
Ran the app through the steps, scanned QR, selected my 2.4 ghz SSID
LED on the hub turns solid green
App runs up to “connecting rachio hub to network”
App Fails with “Failed to connect to server” with instructions to hold the reset button for 5 seconds and try again.

I hold the reset button for 5 seconds and the LED blinks yellow until I release it and it goes back to a solid green.
Disconnect power from the hub for a few seconds and plug it back in then the LED blinks yellow again.
Repeat with the same results every time.

Other things I’ve tried:
Factory reset my Orbi system and recreate my wireless network.
Completely disable ALL 5 Ghz broadcast, radios and options on the Orbi.
Move hub closer to and further away from my Orbi router / AP.

Read through countless other Community and Reddit threads looking for a solution to this.

I’m 4.5 hours into trying to get this set up and ready to pack it up and send it back at this point.

Appreciate any other ideas anyone might have.
Thank you!!

Thank you Franz.

Interestingly enough, a tree fell and took out our powerlines today so we were without power for for most of the day. When power was restored, I gave set up one last try and to my surprise, everything set up without an issue. Loss of power must have reset something somewhere on my network that may have been interfering with the set up. It’s all set now.
