I have push notifications enabled for when my irrigation system starts/stops, and I try not to swipe it away because I like to know when it is active but sometimes I clear it either accidentally or out of habit.
I think it would be useful to have the option to display a persistent notification when the system is running. I was surprised to not find a similar suggestion already posted. Ideally it would include the schedule name, current zone, and a configurable timer showing either zone time elapsed/remaining or schedule time elapsed/remaining.
I could probably use IFTTT to create a custom way to do this, but it seems like a feature that would be useful to many users that belongs in the app itself.
