So I’m trying to convert from a Rainbird ESP 12-lx controller and I moved over the seven zones that were plugged into the bottom of each zone terminal on the Rainbird, and I also connected the white wire to C and black wire to M. No zones work when I try a zone test. Anyone have any experience with this set up? There was also a rain sensor installed on the Rainbird, but I removed that completely so maybe that’s the issue?
Did you enable the master valve for pump within the app? That can prevent water from flowing. Also, I do not remember offhand, but it seems many of the sensors on other controllers are in line with ground. They do not get hooked up to the Rachio in the same way and do not recommend hooking those up at least for a while. You might make sure that you have the sprinklers ground, not the sensor’s ground.
