Rain Skip - observed rain time window

Per your literature, for the observed rain, look back window is past 48 hours checked 12 hours and one hour before the scheduled run. My unit for example notified me last night it has 3.59 inches of rain. When I have so much rain, I probably do not want to water for a week. However, the way you described says, water will no longer be skipped for schedules that are after 49 hours of the rain event. On the other hand, if it only rained a 1/4 inch, that two days skip would have been fine. Of course the soil type and current tempratures will also be a factor, but I want to be able to set that time window myself, up to a week look back. Your saturation skips may do some of what I am manually wanting to do, but it may not be the same thing. Please consider making this change.

Secondly, what’s the relevance of the check 12 hours before the schedule if you are also checking one hour before. Is waterring or no watering decision based on the latest (one hour prior) check only or is it either/or?

Please consider using a Flex Daily schedule. Doing so eliminates the need for Skipping, because it will use the amount of rain each day to decide when to irrigate, which I believe would solve your problem. Just MHO.
