Rachio with Toro Soil Moisture Sensors

Why can’t Rachio code their software and app to read the soil moisture data that’s displayed on my two Toro Precision Soil Moisture Sensors so the soil moisture percentage can be depicted in the Rachio app? (FYI: Rachio is sometimes pretty accurate with soil moisture percentage and other times it’s not even close.)

Why can’t my two Toro Soil Moisture sensors be added to specific zones?

Are both these issues because Toro and Rachio would need to collaborate in order to make this happen and it’s not worth their time? Especially since they’re competitors.

There is currently no way for the controller to receive that data.

I don’t believe this data is able to be received by anything other than their proprietary receiver so would not be possible without changes to their hardware.
