Rachio system ran with water shut off

Hello, I recently shut off the water valve because one of the sprinkler heads or pipes had a leak (waiting on a pro to come fix it). I thought I put the Rachio system in STANDBY mode, but woke up this morning to see that it ran all 8 zones with no water.
Does anyone know if this will cause damage to the system?

I would say rather unlikely to damage the Rachio or the valves. In areas before possibility of freezing, some will blow residual water out their lines by running the zones with no water.

Not at all. The valves don’t need water for anything…
