I am using my home weather station via Wunderground for Rachio weather connection. I am considering adding a solar radiation sensor to the Davis station. Davis info says evapotranspiration will be calculated if this sensor is present. Will The Rachio Gen3 be improved by this addition?
That is a good question. I guess if the Davis cloud is computing that ET and pushing that to Wunderground, it should? @franz, does that sound right?
We have our own evapotranspiration calculator that will use solar radiation data if present.
We will not use the Davis ET, but should use the solar radiation to calculate ET.
