Rachio Gen 2 Home owner Transfer

Hello, bought a new home in October and am just now trying to transfer the Rachio Gen 2 to my account via the app. When I scan the barcode on the control panel it tells me I need to contact customer service. I have sent several emails this week but have not heard back at this time.

I am really hoping someone can help me transfer this panel to my new account.



If you still have contact with the seller, ask him to transfer ownership to you; see

Or, if it’s easier for him, ask him for the email address and password for his Rachio account so you can do the transfer yourself.

Thanks for the quick response. We have tried to get in contact with the previous owners but have been unsuccessful. In the event that we can not get in contact with the previous owners, is there still a way to transfer the controller to our new account?


I had the engineering team remove the controller from the old account. You should be good to go.
