So, I have a new system installed and everything works fine. The only thing that bugs me is when I open the Rachio app nothing shows up on the landing page. The only way I can get my property and controller to show up is using the search bar and clicking into the search bar. Once I select the property from the search I can get into the controller and change settings and run the system. The property is selected as Favorite but will not show up on the main landing page. The filter at the top is selected to all and nothing shows up. The only way I can get into the system is by using the search bar at the top.
Is this a known bug or is this something that can be corrected?
Hey dspurg thanks for posting about this. I took a look and found some things to help.
First, it looks like when you created your account (or updated your account info), you checked the box to indicate you were a professional installer. This will change some of the application elements that will make it more difficult to get where you need to get to if you only manage the Rachio controller at your home. If you’d like, I recommend updating your profile to turn that off. You can do that by tapping the person icon in the top right when you launch the app, going to profile, and unchecking the box at the bottom that says “I’m a professional contractor who installs controllers” then saving and force closing and restarting the app.
Your report here did uncover an issue with that screen though and we’re going to get a fix out in the next release to make it so all the homes appear as expected!
