Rachio 3 not working. Wiring?

I cannot get my new Rachio 3 to run. I upgraded from a Gen 1 that worked fine last year. I think the wiring is correct, but am not sure and support hasn’t reached out yet. I did turn master valve off as it was set to on and I don’t believe I have that with my rain bird system. Suggestions? There are two wures, a black and a red which I believe are common wired. I put one each in the separate C terminals. I did remove the rpz valve for the winter but I believe it is correct as well because when I open the valve to the right, water rushes out.

@Jsimek339 - any before pictures of the wiring on the Gen1?

Do you have an in-line rain sensor (white wire)? Where is the other wire for the sensor?

Many times the common wire is a white wire?

Do you have access to an ohm meter?

Do you have access to a valve (look for a round valve cover in the ground possibly) and can you see what color wires are connected to the solenoid there?

Resolved. It was the white wire
