Replaced Rachio 2 with 3, wired Rain-Clik to S1 & 24v - (negative). Checked that Master Valve was acknowledged in the app. Rachio comes on in the rain. Started a Quick Run, pressed the “clik” test button, water flow continues. Sprayed water on the Rain-Clik, flow continues.
Bought a new Rain-Clik, did a continuity check with a battery & voltmeter—the test button broke the connection as required. Wired the new Rain-Clik to S1 & 24v - , dangling right below the Rachio3, started Quick Run, pressed the “clik” test button, water flow continues.
Question: does Quick Run override the rain sensor? Can the test only be carried out during a scheduled run (4am). Don’t know what to do.
