Program and forget?

Consider the following: my home is at the end of a cul-de-sac and my front yard follows its contour and it basically crescent shaped. There are two watering zones with each having several spray heads. The heads of each zone face each other so there is some overlap. After entering all the necessary parameters and knowing that the Iro is monitoring my close-by NWS station, what is preventing me from programming the system to water every day for 20-25 minutes or so and letting the Iro determine on a daily basis if watering is needed? Is there a reason why I should not do this?

@Buckaroo With current scheduling you will pick a day(s) of week, or interval (2 days, 3 days, etc.) We will then adjust +/- zone durations on a weekly basis using past and future weather. We will also skip full schedules if there is precipitation.

Our 2.0 release coming out soon is more in alignment with

These are called flex schedules and will only water when necessary.
