I’ve been experimenting with the new Heat/Cool wave features lately and have been getting what appear to be erroneous notifications about schedule adjustments related to heat waves.
I live in Massachusetts, so the regular daytime temperatures these days are in the mid to upper 70’s. There’s only been one actual heat wave alert triggered, and that was during the spring while I using multiple overseeding schedules (both grow-in and regular) that I had configured with lower temperature thresholds as they’re intended for fragile grass. At peak, I was probably running ~7-8 schedules a day, all configured with Heat Wave functionality.
Now that things are heating up, I’ve disabled my overseeding schedules and shifted back to using my regular two Flex Daily schedules to maintain my lawn, but I’m regularly getting 7-8 notifications clumped together regarding schedule changes due to heat wave detections. These come in waves at ~6 hour intervals.
I’m thinking about 3 potential bugs:

Potential heat wave calculations (and related notifications) are being done on disabled schedules.

Potential bugs related to the Tempest integration & heat wave functionality - I do have a Tempest integration set up, so there might be a niche bug that I’m running into.

Potential notification duplication bug - perhaps the calculations are running only for the right schedules, but multiple notifications are being sent in error.
