I am having issues where my personal weather station is not showing up in the Rachio 3 controller app. I have it linked to Weather Underground and has been working for years.
I just checked again and it does not seem to be loading up. I have seen in similar posts that there needs to be a ticket submitted to WU to get it resolved. Does anyone know what that process would be?
did you ever figure this out? I have the same problem.
No I did not. I noticed that support was only replying to these requests back in July but stopped in August.
I think Rachio is using pwsweather.com not weather underground. so I just started sharing to that site, but it says it might take 7 days before being “active”.
Hi there!
Rachio is using Weather Underground for personal weather stations. @SomeGuy753 Can you clarify if you mean to say that WU has stopped responding to these support requests?
Best,
Hello Dane,
Thanks for taking the time to reply. I was looking at previous requests on this topic and saw that a member of Rachio was replying promptly to them and replying that Rachio had reached out to WU to resolve the issue with their API not reporting the PWS properly. When I mention that support was not replying I meant Rachio as I had seen previous. I did just check again and it does not look like my PWS is showing up in the Rachio App.
Please let me know if I am reaching out to the wrong support to try and get this resolved? I was unable to find any documentation or steps in the previous requests in Rachio’s community.
Thanks!
Hi there,
Sorry for the delay. This is something that Weather Underground should be able to help with. Before you reach out to them, let me check with our support team. On our side, we are showing the stations that WU provides. Our support team might be able to provide me with some more information. Rachio Support is always available and will respond to you when you reach out at support@rachio.com. We also have live chat agents available on the Help Center https://support.rachio.com/
