Permanently disable rain skip for one zone only

I have flower bed 120 ft long— that drains very well, but due to its position and a roof overhang, gets little to no rain. My flowers are dying due to lack of water because of rain skips. I keep running on manual but cannot do this all the time. How to disable rain skip on just this one zone?

I do not know what else is on the schedule, but I would probably put that one on its own schedule since it is different.

How would that help?

I guess my real reply should be… Can I disable Rain Skip for an entire schedule? If so, how? (I’ve been running through all the possible setting options and can’t find anything like that for either a whole schedule or a zone…).

Thomas is right, create a schedule for
the flower bed and disable Rain Skip for that schedule. You cannot disable it per zone, but per schedule.

Last option while editing a schedule, Weather Intelligence - be aware Rain Skip is not available for Flex Daily and maybe other types.

I am very much a newbie. My irrigation guy set this all up for me. Looked pretty simple, but now --I cannot find a way to add or edit a schedule. I must be missing something but what?

Rain skip options run from 1/16 inch to 1 inch or more – but do not see and way to disable it…

The schedules are available in a separate tab on the bottom labeled Schedules. Then there is a Create Schedule on the bottom left. You want to first edit the first schedule to remove the zone in question, then create another schedule using only that zone.

separate tab on the bottom
Of what?
When I am on my box page, schedule is a choice from the left column. When I pull up the schedule in question, there is no option to edit, only a choice to delete the schedule…

Btw, I already have the choice set as ‘no rain skip’ for this entire schedule…
but it doesn’t work.

And…the app flakes out on me randomly to a clean screen, like when I try to add a new schedule…

Are you on Android or iOS?

the page that has “delete schedule” in red at the bottom is the actual edit page for the schedule.

Android, but I do most of my work w Rachio on a pc, windows 11 and chrome

Yup… but thats the only option. No option to edit the schedule.

oh you are using the web app… may I recommend trying this on a phone app? The web app is no longer officially developed, I understand

Thanks for the advice… didn’t know that. Using the phone has been problematic for me… eyesight issues, recent arm and wrist surgery, etc. But I will give it a try.
