Orbit B-hyve 21004

After upgrading my old controller to rachio v2, I discovered that my wires are broken somewhere. If I can’t locate the break(s), I will need wireless valves. Anyone know if this is compatible with Rachio? Orbit B-hyve 21004 Smart Hose Faucet Timer with Wi-Fi Hub, Compatible with Alexa?

  1. I’d check the connections at each valve. If waterproof wire nuts weren’t used that could lead to corrosion in the joints:

  1. If no zones work, I’d focus on the Common wire first.

  2. Is there a rain sensor that is installed in-line on the common wire?

  3. Do the valves work manually - i.e. when the bleed screw on the valve is turned the water comes one for that zone?

  4. Do you have access to an ohm meter to measure resistance down each zone wire and back through the common wire.

  5. No, I don’t believe the Orbit B-hyve 21001 Smart Hose Faucet timer can be controlled a Rachio controller.
