Options for low flow meters in a 0.75" system?

Only the TORO is available below 1" from the recommended list. Its lower limit is 2.7GPM.

Is is OK to use a 1" flow meter supporting <1GPM like the EVERYDROP, FLOWMEC or CST and use size adaptors?

It’s going to be about 1ft of pipe converted from 0.75" to 1".

I know a lot of people who use the Everydrop meter on their 3/4" system, so that should be no issue with the correct adapters.
