I just received my new Rachio controller and am unsure how to use it with a well. I will be replacing a Hunter Pro-C. I’ve done this with a city water system, but am not sure what to do with a dedicated irrigation well.
I’m not certain as to what, exactly, is your question.
If your irrigation well has no expansion tank and pressure switch, I guess the only difference is you’ll want to turn the well pump on/off using the Rachio 3’s master valve control?
@Rbabiarz - Enable the pump start option in the app so that a delay/rest can be put in between zones. This may be needed to help the well recharge. Do this even if there is not a pump start relay installed and the system works off of a tank with a pressure switch to turn the pump on and off.
