New Rachio 3 and Smart Soak & Cycle not working

Hi, i have a brand new R3 i set it up for my house everything went well. I have 4 zone schedule with Daily Plex and Smart Soak and Cycle. Each zone is 20 mins and 20 second

After the very first schedule finish, i check the history on my app it showing all 4 zone run for straight 20 mins without and break or slit each zone to 2 times for 10 mins. What should i do?

I believe it depends first on how you set up the feature. For more information, if you have not seen it, you might want to read Smart Cycle, Manual Cycle and Soak Features

Secondly, I believe depending on how you set it up. it can also depend on other advanced settings, such as soil type and slope.

A quick way to “force” Rachio to do a cycle soak is to change the slope to max. Like @Thomas_Lerman said, Rachio will decide the need for cycle soak based on a number of factors, soil type, precipitation rate, and slope. Soil type and PR will change watering durations and frequencies, where slope won’t, just might force a cycle soak.

Does specifying drip emitters block smart soak?

I was going to say yes  , but it looks like we changed that restriction a while back.

I’m glad you removed it. I’ve got a steep clay hillside and in some places the water starts running off pretty quickly. But it’s still not working on my schedule.

I saw something in the past month or two telling me that Smart Cycle wouldn’t work on my drip schedule.

When did you remove the restriction? Do I have to create a new schedule to get out from under it?

If you PM me your Rachio account email address I can have the engineering team do a quick review.
