This is my first year using my Rachio 3, I have it form February and I’m in Chile (summer is coming).
I have been using the Flex Monthly options for the fist 4 month and then the Flex Daily, but now the fixed option because of the lawn that is getting dry.
I have 6 zones:
Zones 1 and 6 have shade all day on winter
zones 2 to 5 have a lot of sun.
times per zone on las summer:
Run at 23:00
Zone 1: 4min
Zone 2: 4min
Zone 3: 4min
Zone 4: 4min
Zone 5: 4min
Zone 6: 4min
times per zone today:
Run at 23:00
Zone 1: 8min
Zone 2: 10min
Zone 3: 10min
Zone 4: 10min
Zone 5: 10min
Zone 6: 10min
Run at 11:00
Zone 1: 8min
Zone 2: 10min
Zone 3: 10min
Zone 4: 10min
Zone 5: 10min
Zone 6: 10min
first, when the winter started the lawns became full of fungus, I had to use some products to kill the fungus. This was because the lawn was getting too much water.
now, that the summer is coming, the lawn is getting dry and is dead in some spots (big spots).
I had to change to fixed so I manually increase the amount of water and add a run at 11:00 am so the dirt don’t get too dry.
Question:
why is Flex Monthly or Flex Daily not working?
how can I avoid to use the Fixed and to get a healthy lawn?
is it that Rachio 3 don’t work in Chile?
