I’m trying to figure out my soil type by doing mason jar test. It’s now been sitting more than 10+ days, and the top layer of clay still seems to be mixed with water. I did use 1 tsp dish detergent as recommended.
In my area, most soils are heavy clary in Southeast Michigan. Any suggestions? Does this just mean I’m mostly clay?
