My internet connection has suddenly gone to crap and so I am having to run my irrigation system manually. My frustration is I can only run a zone for 3 minutes at a time. You can see the problem with that. Is there a way to program each zone to run the length of time I need them to run in the manual mode. I’m trying to find a fix for the internet in the mean time. I don’t think there is a way, unfortunately.
Rachio does need to change that silly 3 minute time limit for when the internet/wi-fi or your cell phone is totally down and you need to water manually by pressing a button on the controller.
Your best option may be to tether a phone to give your Rachio wifi, and then let the Rachio get it’s two week schedule, and disconnect the phone.
It may be a case of doing that every fortnight until you sort things out, or simply create a fixed schedule while it’s connected.
