Why are you unable to manually log rainfall? I understand the whole push around selling weather stations but research shows their inaccuracies and high cost. I purchased this smart controller to save water and my water bill is crazy high using this Rachio 3 smart sprinkler controller. I don’t understand why the only option available is to fill the zone as opposed to recording the actual rain I received and measured in my rain gauge. Amazing new technology unable to use the oldest of technology for more accurate results. Found 1/4” of rain in my gauge this morning after a few small cells of rain. Local stations recorded nothing.
While 1/4" of rain would be welcome to me here in AZ right now, keep in mind that 1/4" really wouldn’t do a ton to change your need to water. Each time you water you are putting down significantly more water than that.
But, had that rainfall you recorded been significant, being able to log could be a nice feature.
