Lawn watering schedule get skipped

I have the lawn program to do every Monday and Friday. So it would be 3 or 4 days internal. However Rachio decide to not respect the schedule and skip every other irrigation. Which make it once every week. That is way too long and my lawn start to stress from it and part of it start to yellow.

How do I make the controller respect the watering interval but adjust on the amount of the water per month?

I have Rachio V2 16 zone installed

Need more information. What schedule type? When skipping, is it a weather related skip or what showing in the app?

I have two program. One is every day drip. The other is Lawn every Monday and Friday. Both of them have skips make it very far from the mark to the point that damage the plants.

I can’t tell how it decide to skip. How do I find out. I just notice that the days it does not plan to irrigate on the calendar. If it is just occupationally skip one then it is less damaging. The end result of the skip is lawn has half the water and dripping has even less the water.

I disable all the auto adjust feature, and I check the calendar. On the calendar there are still plenty of days does not schedule to have water due to I turn off all the auto adjust feature. I need to change the internal to a different type and switch it back then I see the calendar have future schedule matching the current programming.

For me, this skip program can not be trusted. It seems buggy or way off the mark. Right now it is the hottest month of the year and it give me less than half of the water? Sounds some thing very wrong.

It seems there is no safe guard that if the skip causing the actual water is way less than original intended, either the original programming is way wrong or the skip is way off. In this case skip is way off.
