I purchased a Rachio 2 a couple of years ago to replace a fairly new rainbird controller because I wanted better control and connectivity for my sprinkler controller. After the initial set up I really haven’t done much with it… it just does it’s thing watering the lawn when it needs it.
We had a pretty bad drought in this area over the past couple of weeks and as I was driving through the neighborhood I realized that my yard is literally the only yard in my neighborhood that doesn’t have any brown or bare spots at all. Including some yards that have other sprinkler systems.
The Rachio has been able to watch the weather and water extra to keep my grass green without any extra effort on my part.
