I had hunter unit which was working but display went off. Hence I replaced with rachio. But the unit is not working even though wiring seem fine. Any suggestions?
Do you happen to have a picture from the Hunter? I see two red and one white wires that are stripped, but do not seem to be hooked up (well, one red looks like it might be touching another). Also a few other wires that do not seem to be stripped or hooked up. Do you know what all the wires are? Do you know if you have a master valve or pump? How about any kind of sensor, such as a rain sensor?
Usually white wires common wires for the solenoids and should be connected. You have at least one white wire not connected. Do you have a master valve or pump relay with your irrigation?
