I have a recipe to log every time a schedule runs on ifttt and it’s getting double entries for each run
What is it logging to? I will have the team try to reproduce.
Not seeing the same behavior, do you have other recipes that could be writing to the file?
Yup. That’s where double entries exist for me
I can see that for some reason IFTTT queries our system twice for that trigger about 15 minutes apart. We return the same unique ID each time so they should not duplicate the record. The incoming request is also identical.
So two things, don’t know why they are calling our system twice for the same trigger watering stop, and even if they do, the point behind the unique ID being returned should not make them duplicate information. IMHO this looks like it might be an IFTTT defect. Maybe try rebuilding the recipe?

I have the same problem. I have 2 zones, “Standard Watering Lawns” and “Drip Zones”. I would upload screen captures from my iPad, but I have a second different problem that this app won’t let me upload the pics when I am using my iPad. Will have to get to a Windows PC, get my pics over there and upload them to this thread.

The Trigger is “Watering Time Stops” and here is the result. It’s odd as the “Standard Watering Lawns” zone gets a duplicate, only with two different times, but the “Drip Zones” gets just the one. Could it have anything to do with Smart Cycle being active in “Standard Watering Lawns” zone? Or is that a red herring?
Just did a little more research. In all cases where there is a duplicate entry, the first entry is during a Cycling Duration, and the second entry is at the actual end of watering time.
I have another IFTTT report that is also whacko. This one has two recipes writing to the same file. One is “If zone started event registered, then add row to Rachio/Stats/WaterHistory” and the other is “If zone completed event registered, then add row to Rachio/Stats/WaterHistory”. Here is an example: (Actual watering times according to log on 9/16 were 4-4:30am and 4:30-4:59am, and the same on 9/17)

Sending this to IFTTT. Everything on our end looks like it is working correctly. Will see if they know why the recipe is firing twice.
I opened a ticket with IFTTT. Looks like we are sending the correct data back, but for some reason they seem to be adding more than once (firing the recipe). I will let you know what their response is.

Re-pinged them today. In the past, their support has been slow.
Finally got a response from IFTTT, they need more supporting data, but our archive does not have this recorded anymore (I thought I had sent them enough initially).
If this is still happening, can you get me an example with time(s)? I should then have enough data to send to them.

Ok, if you see it again (or anyone else) let me know, I finally have the ear of IFTTT. It might have been an issue on their end that was magically resolved.
