I just purchased a Rachio 3. I’m replacing my Hunter X-Core which had a Solar-Sync Clik sensor. I know the Solar-Sync won’t work with my new Rachio.
Due to inaccuracies in the weather forecasts and the fact I’d like to stop a water cycle should it begin raining while its running I’d like to add a combination rain and freeze sensor. I was considering replacing it with a wired Hunter Freeze/Rain Clik sensor model # RF-CLIK. The brochure states: “Compatible with most normally open or normally closed irrigation controllers”.
Sounds like it should work; thoughts, comments?
