My shrubs and trees are in three zones, front shrubs (4.2 gpm), front trees (1.3 gpm), and back shrubs (1.2 gpm). These are drip lines with a variable number of emitters of different rates. Besides the flow rate for each zone from calibration, I can count the number of emitters and the flow rates of each emitter. What other information do I need to ensure adequate watering of these zones? Area, root depth, and all the other parameters are beyond my conprehension.
There are a lot of discussions around using Rachio with drip. There isn’t an easy/obvious solution since Rachio from the beginning was designed to help with watering of lawns. I would recommend starting with this recent/ongoing threads (and from it you can follow into other discussions):
